If your kids love Locopops, here's an activity to keep them busy during these hot summer days and maybe win some free Locopops!

Through Aug. 22, Locopops, that popular local maker of frozen treats, is seeking local artists of all ages to create their favorite "Locolebrity" Pop Art drawing.

To enter, download the entry sheet from Locopop's website or visit your local store. Decorate it and then bring it to a store location by Aug. 22. Submissions will be judged in three age group categories: Under 8 years, 8 to 14 years old and 15 years and over.

A "Locolebrity" is "your interpretation of your favorite celebrity portrayed in Locopop form," says Locopops founder Summer Bicknell.

Each store location will be judged separately. Winners for all store locations will be announced the week of Sept. 6. Prizes include 30 free pops and a T-shirt for first place. Second place gets 10 free pops and a T-shirt. Third place gets five free pops and a T-shirt.
