Quail Ridge Books & Music in Raleigh is bringing in some great children's authors in the next couple of months.

Two are especially big ... Henry Winkler (who you will recognize as The Fonz from Happy Days) and Lois Lowry, the Newbery Medal-winning author of many great books for kids.

Winkler, who also is the author of the Hank Zipzer series, will be there at 7 p.m. May 12 with the final book in the series called "A Brand New Me." For ages 8 and up.

Lowry will visit with her new book "The Birthday Girl" at 7 p.m. April 21. For ages 8 to 12.

Both are signing line ticket events, which means that when you buy a book by the author at the store, you'll get a ticket to get the book signed. The readings are free, open to the public and do not require tickets. Click here for more on signing line ticket evetns.
