Karissa Trussell of Holly Springs doesn't have any movie making experience. And she's not that great with gadgets either (the mom of three admits that she recently had to call her husband when she couldn't figure out how to turn on their new TV).

But when she saw the ad earlier this year for Harris Teeter's jingle contest where the winners earn cash for their school, the ideas started flowing.

In the end, she turned in a 30-second video featuring nine kids from Holly Springs Elementary School, where her oldest child attends. The video features some of every kids favorite things at Harris Teeter ... the miniature shopping carts, the free cookies, the balloons.

A panel of Harris Teeter judges will choose the school that wins the $10,000 grand prize. A $2,500 people's choice prize will be awarded to the school with the most votes on the contest website.

At last check with Harris Teeter, there were three other schools in the Triangle with entries.

And the two-year-old and three-year-old classrooms at Aldersgate Church Preschool in Chapel Hill.

You can vote for your favorites once a day through April 8. The winners will be announced April 30. And they are really adorable.
