Not sure what to do this weekend (other than enjoy the beautiful weather)? Then check out these family-friendly activities.

The Scrap Exchange in Durham will host a free make-and-take shadowbox project for people of all ages from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the opening reception for its latest Green Gallery art exhibit, “Shedding Light on Metal and Assemblages.” Participants can fill their shadowboxes with objects from The Scrap Exchange.
The Ravenscroft Market at the private school in north Raleigh runs from Thursday to Saturday. Proceeds support the new WakeMed Children's Hospital. You'll find lots of really cute gift items, clothes, jewelry and more.
John Rosemond, family psychologist and nationally syndicated columnist, will lead a parenting seminar at First United Methodist Church in Cary on Saturday. For parents of younger children, there will be a presentation called "Parenting the Strong-Willed Child" at 10 a.m. Parents with teenagers might be interested in the 1:30 p.m. presentation, "Parenting the Strong-Willed Teenager." Tickets are $15 per person and $25 per couple. Click here for details and to register.
I'm very excited about the Justin Roberts concert at The ArtsCenter in Carrboro. Shows are at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for the kindie rock star who you may have seen on Noggin or the Today Show. Expect a mini mosh pit of little ones rocking to the music. It's great fun.
It's time to rumble at the Museum of Life and Science's annual Robot Rumble in Durham. Events, activities and presentations run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Durham museum. You'll see robots battle it out, learn all about how robots are changing the medical field and more. The event is free with admission.
The N.C. Museum of History will offer a free informal make it, take it program from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Kids can get ready for March Madness by making their own mini hoop and ball game and visiting the N.C. Sports Hall of Fame.
Applause! Cary Youth Theatre will present "Much Ado About Will" at 7 p.m. Saturday. The show, with crazy antics, mistaken identity, murder, love and war, features teens from Applause!'s masters in acting. The performance will be held at the Cary Senior Center, 120 Maury O'Dell Place. Admission is free, but bring some cash for concessions. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Don't forget that "The Hundred Dress," a play at the Raleigh Little Theatre continues through next weekend. The story, based on the award-winning book, explores teasing and bullying.
More Easter bunnies are appearing at area malls this weekend. Check our Go Ask Mom Easter Guide.
And it's time to get your tickets for the N.C. Theatre's version of Cinderella. The show runs from April 9 to April 18 in Raleigh.
