A couple of chains will be offering some free family-friendly events on Saturday.

All Target stores will feature a Dr. Seuss storytime from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday. The event includes snacks, games, giveaways and a reading of "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" Find out more about it on Target's website, which also includes some activities you can do at home.
And Michaels stores will be offering a free science fair make-it take-it event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Kids will use the periodic table to create 3D molecule models using Crayola's Model Magic. Here are the details.
And for regular in-store events and storytimes, be sure to check out our bookstore storytimes, in-store events and regular performances resource page.
