Draw a shark, win a ticket to Megalodon
Give your kids some paper and crayons and have them draw a shark as part of the shark illustration contest at the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences.
Posted — UpdatedYou'll get to walk through the massive jaws of the largest shark that ever lived at the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences starting next Saturday.
The museum is looking for kids to illustrate their best and most realistic version of a shark in its natural surroundings. Judging is based on artistic ability and scientific accuracy. There are four age groups: Kindergarten and under; grades 1 through 3, grades 4 through 6 and grades 7 through 9. Winners will receive a prize and have their picture displayed at the museum's store. But all entrants will get one free admission to the exhibit.
