School's out across the Triangle.

But after a weekend of snow and ice, some of the Triangle's major kid destinations are thawing out and opening up today. Here's a list of a few of them if you plan on getting out today. Just be careful!

The state natural sciences and history museums open at noon today.

Marbles Kids Museum is closed (it normally is on Mondays), but the IMAX theater is open.

Most Wake County libraries are open, but may not be operating their normal hours. Be sure to check ahead.

The Durham County Library will open at noon today.

Chapel Hill Public Library is open.

And if your kids are really bouncing off the walls, Pump It Up, the giant warehouse of inflatables in North Raleigh near the airport, will hold a special pop-in playtime event from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. today.

Museum of Life and Science in Durham will be closed today. So is Kidzu Children's Museum in Chapel Hill, which is closed on Mondays anyway. And Morehead Planetarium remains closed as it undergoes some regular maintenance.
