So you're iced in now and the kids are bouncing off the walls. Here are a few of my favorite sites for whiling away at least a few minutes today. Please share yours!

The Munch Cam from the Museum of Life and Science. Animals eating food isn't funny. So I really can't explain why I'm cracking up when I watch Nico the Tobacco Hornworm and Iris the Red-Ruffed Lemur chomping away at whatever they've got. But I am. And there's something to be said for that.
Lego.com. Sure, once you spend a little time here playing the games, your kids will want to hightail it to the Lego store at Crabtree once the snow melts to spend a gazillion dollars. But it's going to keep them busy. And isn't that what it's all about right now?
Crayola's Lights, Camera, Color. If your kids unwrapped a Crayola product over the holidays, it's likely it came with a little code that you can use to turn your photos into coloring pages. Print out some snow pictures, color them and send them off to Grandma.
Free stuff from the N.C. Zoo. The zoo in Asheboro has games and more for the kids.
Science sites. The N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences recommends a variety of sites with lots of educational games, activities and more. Worth a look.
Check out some new kids music online. If you and your toddler to grade-schooler haven't heard Justin Roberts, Lunch Money, Trout Fishing in America or Gustafer Yellowgold, it's time to take a look.
