Great Kids Menu: Mojoe's Burger Joint

I hate most kids menus. I just don't understand why a decent restaurant will offer great food for the adults and the worst for the kids. I don't know about you, but my preschooler actually likes to eat food with a color other than beige.

So in this space, we'll run an occasional series featuring the best kids menus in the Triangle. It's not going to be too hard for restaurants to earn this honor. Actually, it's fairly easy. All I ask is that they offer something other than fries, chips and sweetened applesauce to their sides and maybe a healthy entree too.

Moejoe's Burger Joint is our first restaurant with a great menu. Not because of the entrees ... it's standard kids menu fare with hot dogs, hamburgers and the like. It's a burger joint. But included among their side offerings for kids is a salad. Yes ... a salad ... with nice crunchy lettuce and a colorful array of veggies.
