Northgate Mall will serve as host for Durham's annual College Fair from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday.

Parents and students will be able to meet with representatives from more than 100 colleges and universities from across the state and as far away as Alabama, Virginia and Massachusetts. Durham Public School high school counselors will help students navigate through the participating institutions.

Durham Technical Community College, Duke University, North Carolina Central University and Durham Public Schools have organized the event. It will give families a chance to get information about two- and four-year college programs, large or small schools, urban or rural, majors, activities and costs, student life and financial assistance.

The event is free and open to the public (not just for students in Durham schools). Find it from entrance No. 2 and No. 8 at Northgate Mall, 1058 West Club Blvd., Durham.
