Buffaloe Road Aquatics Center open for business

I went over to Buffaloe Road Aquatics Center this morning to snap a few pictures of the facility, including the three-story slide, tot play area and spacious rooms for individual families to change in. I'll have a bigger post about it all tomorrow.

First impressions (without actually getting in the pool): It's really nice! It's not huge. Terri Stroupe, the city's aquatics director, tells me that it's about the size of the year-round pool at Millbrook Exchange Park. Slideshow     Buffaloe Road Aquatics Center Buffaloe Road Aquatics Center

But there are several features here that will make it a lot of fun for kids and their parents (including a bubble bench where you can sit and watch your kids play while you enjoy the massaging bubbles).

Nice place, Are there going to be any discounted times or days possibly for non residents? I hope so since I live in another county that has nothing like this to do.

That looks really cool!!! I wish they'd put something like that up towards Franklinton and be a place where I could learn how to swim.
