Captain Underpants author, Mike Lupica headed to Quail Ridge

I've written about these two events before, but I just wanted to, again, highlight these two big events at Quail Ridge Books & Music in Raleigh in the next week.

At 4:30 p.m., Thursday, Dav Pilkey, author of the popular Captain Underpants series, will be at the store to sign his ninth book in the series - "Terrifying Return of Tippy Tinkletrousers." This is a signing only. Receive a ticket for the signing line with a purchase of the new book from Quail Ridge. Pilkey also will sign another book at the event as long as it was purchased at Quail Ridge. The books are best for ages 6 and up.

And at 7 p.m., Sept. 4., next Tuesday, Mike Lupica, newspaper columnist, ESPN commentator and New York Times bestselling author, will return with his latest book for kids "True Legend." His book comes out the day of his visit, but you can pre-order it from Quail Ridge now. Best for ages 9 to adult.
