Local moms share back-to-school tips

We're two weeks away from the first day of school for most kids in the region. I'm vacillating between sheer excitement about the prospect and disappointment that the summer is nearly over.

So at Go Ask Mom's event at North Hills Kids last week, I asked a few moms and one rising ninth grader for their back-to-school tips. They had some fantastic ideas from a Sunday evening family meeting to schedule the week's activities to knowing exactly what you're going to wear so you're not rushing around in the morning.
