JC Raulston Arboretum offers new preschool story time series

JC Raulston Arboretum at N.C. State has a new story time series for preschoolers.

They are from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Aug. 31, Sept. 28 and Oct. 26, for ages 3 to 5 and their adult. The story times include garden stories, songs and movement, and a craft to take home.

Each story time is $5. Preregistration is required. For details and to register, click here.

And be on the lookout for fun activities the week of Sept. 24 to Sept. 30, which is Take a Child Outside Week. I'm told the arboretum will have daily activities for kids during that week. Some will require preregistration. Others will be free and open to all. Stay tuned.
