Our big event at North Hills in Raleigh is this Wednesday from 9 a.m .to 1 p.m.

I'm excited to offer a free class from Stroller Strides, a free visit with First-In Fire's fire truck, a fun activity with Lil' Chef, free child IDs from the Wake County Sheriff's Office, snacks (while supplies last) and more. Of course, North Hills Kids will have their big foam blocks for the kids to play with and climb on.
Please see my earlier post for more information and the full schedule of all of the fun planned!
Also: If you are able, please consider bringing a new stuffed animal or used children's books and DVDs to donate to The Comfort Project, a local group that distributes the items to sick children.
I wrote about the mom, Noel Tucker, who started the group earlier this year. It's a great way for kids to give back. We'll also have paper and supplies to make cards for the children who receive items from The Comfort Project.

Find us in front of the Starbucks and Ben & Jerry's and across from the movie theater.

And, speaking of the movie theater, Wednesday is the last day for Regal Entertainment Group's summer movie series, including the North Hills location. Tickets are just $1 to see either "Arthur Christmas" or "The Smurfs." Click here for details. (Other summer movie series continue, see our database).

Just another reason to head over to North Hills tomorrow morning! Hope to see you there (or at our event Saturday, Oct. 20).
