But I gotta tell ya, he’s the sweetest, most lovable thing EVER! We named him Chester. That’s a picture of him sleeping next to my son Caiden. When he and his sister run down the sidewalk, they look like panda bear cubs from the back. Yes, it’s a little crazy at times, the accidents and the occasional barking at night. But it’s really been fun as well! We all get a kick out of watching them play and tumble all over the yard (and house).
The kids are stepping up and helping out, which helps, at times. They assist in cleaning up messes, take them outside, brush them, feed them and take them for walks. The pups have also motivated the kids to pick up their toys, otherwise they become sheepdog souvenirs!
The canine additions prompted us to come up with our first kid job chart, complete with opportunities for earning extra cash! We just started. I’ll let you know how it’s going next week.
