Apex arts center offers free animated movies this week

This just in from Halle Cultural Arts Center in Apex: The downtown Apex spot will show animated movies for free this week.

Shows start at 10 a.m. The schedule has "Cars 2" on Tuesday, "Rango" on Wednesday, "Rio" on Thursday and "Dolphin Tales" on Friday. Bring your own snacks. (It started with "Puss in Boots" today).

No preregistration is required, but I would definitely get there early as seating is limited. With temperatures soaring into the 90s again this week, my guess is this will be a very popular place.
