New consignment sale planned in Durham

The 2nd Look Boutique, which opened a couple of years ago in southwestern Wake County, is planning another sale in Durham this season.

The semi-annual children's consignment sale will hold a sale from Aug. 9 to Aug. 11 at New Horizons Fellowship Annex in Apex, as usual.

Then, from Sept. 6 to Sept. 8, it will move to New Horizon Church in Durham.

Amy Sugg, a mom and the sale's owner, said she's always had a few shoppers say they've traveled from Durham and Chapel Hill, an area with fewer sales when compared to Wake County. Check Go Ask Mom's consignment sale database for a county-by-county list of the sales.

"They are still passionate about finding good deals are are willing to drive to the next town to find them," Sugg tells me of the shoppers who travel to her sale. "This fall, we're going to them! We have found a great location at the New Horizon Church in Durham. The awesome staff there have agreed to let me use their facility and do the sale there this fall, and I'm really looking forward to it!"
