Chatting on WRAL-TV morning news Monday

I'll be talking about all the kids music news in the Triangle around 7:40 a.m., Monday, on the WRAL-TV morning news on Fox 50.

If you're a regular reader of Go Ask Mom, you'll know that next Saturday is a big one for kindie rock lovers.

Seattle-based Recess Monkey will perform its first North Carolina concert at The ArtsCenter in Carrboro at 11 a.m., Saturday. Click here for my interview with the group and details about the concert.

Then Grammy-nominated Justin Roberts and his Not Ready for Nap Time Players will be at the N.C. Museum of Art in Raleigh for a 6:30 p.m. show on Saturday. Go Ask Mom is the event's activities sponsor. Click here for my interview with Roberts and details about that concert.

And, in related news, Greensboro-based Big Bang Boom, a regular at lots of festivals around here, is getting ready for the national stage as the group prepares to release a new album in September.
