I have not been to DefyGravity, but the description - a "cutting edge trampoline sports arena" - sounds like all kinds of fun.
The business, which opened about four weeks ago in Durham, calls itself a "state-of-the-art trampoline arena" with more than 7,000 square feet of trampolines. That includes a dodge ball pit and foam pit.
It's open to all ages. From 9 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday, there is a special discount for ages 6 and under - kids jump for $8 per hour and mom or dad jumps for free.
The owners tell me that the best time of the day for little ones to jump is from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. It's the quietest time with fewer older children there.
DefyGravity also offers parties (I'm adding it to our birthday party database), group rates and more. Check their website for details and to see some pictures.
Find DefyGravity at 4300 Emperor Blvd. in Durham.
