Polar Ice House offers admission deal on hot days

Starting today, skaters can cool off at Polar Ice House with a buy one, get one free admission deal if the temperature rises above 95 degrees (which is very likely this weekend!).

The annual Beat the Heat promotion is offered at the Cary, Garner and Wake Forest locations. Each day this summer that the temperature is above 95 degrees, all three locations will offer buy one, get one free admission.

Customers can receive the offer by mentioning the temperature at the register.

Polar Ice House Cary also is offering another beat the heat special — the first 20 customers in line will receive $20 off either Learn to Skate or Learn to Play if the temperature is at least 102 degrees (which also seems pretty likely). This is for new skaters and cannot be combined with any other discounts or coupons. UPDATE: This offer is good only for the weekend of June 30.

Warning though.....lots of people on the ice means theice gets very choppy pretty fast, so be careful or be there when public skating time starts! I wiped out BAD one year on choppy ice. They hadnt zambonied the ice in bours. I havent been since....took me months to heal (thankfully nothing was broken though...amazingly).
