The Kids Exchange, the massive consignment sale at the N.C. State Fairgrounds, is nearly here.

And that means that the next consignment sale season is upon us.

The 2012 fall/winter children's consignment sale season begins with the Kids Exchange, which is open to the public beginning July 20.

At these sales, you'll find children's gently used toys, clothes and gear for less, along with maternity clothes, nursery furniture and more. There are some great deals!

The sales typically feature items that you'd need in the fall and winter - so Halloween costumes, winter coats, Christmas outfits and warm clothes.

Go Ask Mom's consignment sale database lists nearly 40 sales across the region. I've updated the list to include sale information for most of those sales, though not all have published their schedule yet.

There's still plenty of time to sign up to consign items or volunteer at the sales. Consigning or volunteering usually means that you'll get to shop early.

Happy shopping!
