This contest is over! Congratulations to our winner carolinajack!

I think it's safe to call "The Magic School Bus" series a classic now. Featuring Ms. Frizzle and her crazy science-based field trips aboard her ever-changing school bus, it teaches kids about science in a really fun way.

My seven-year-old absolutely loves the books and show.

Scholastic just came out with new DVD sets of "The Magic School Bus" and I have one set, featuring 12 shows, to give to a lucky winner. These are best for kids ages 4 to 10.

How do you enter to win? Do one or both of the following:

1. Follow @WRALmoms on Twitter and tweet once about the contest.

2. Answer the following question in the comments below: How do you get your kids interested in science?

This contest ends at noon, Sept. 17. One winner will be picked at random from all entries. The winner's user name or Twitter name will be posted on this post by 9 p.m. Sept. 17 and an email or message will be sent to the winner, if possible. The winner must respond by 5 p.m. Sept. 22 or a runner-up will be selected. Good luck!

My 8 year old has always loved science. She is always wanting to know how things work and where they come from. The Magic Tree House Books are a favorite of hers.

I get my students interested in science by creating an atmosphere of excitment in my classroom. I use hands-on manipulitive whenever possible. This set of dvds would be a fun way for students to end each unit in science. Magic School Bus has always been a class favorite for my eight year olds.

I Google science experiments and my kids and I sit in the kitchen floor and do different experiments. They love anything having to deal with baking soda and vinegar! They beg to do science experiments!

I don't have to do anything to interest my kids in science - they love it! We read lots of books and do experiments to support their interest, though. They would love this DVD set!

My son actually loves the Magic Schoolbus Books, so those help make science entertaining. We also do fun science experiments at home and get plenty of books from the library that answer his science-related questions.

We made our own worm farm to raise worms for fishing. It helps our kids learn about composting, recycling, ecosystems, etc. The kids love it discover the ways that everything on earth is interdependent.

This year we had a garden which helped us explain to our son how things grown and what we have to do to keep them growing. It was a great learning experience for him and he was very interested in wanting to help and learn more!
