A colleague of mine covered the Maker Faire in Raleigh a couple of weeks ago and found a lot of families having a lot of fun with hands-on science projects.
She tells me that this one for conductive playdough, made with the homemade stuff, not the name-brand kind, was really popular with the younger set. It sounds like great fun for a summer afternoon.
