This contest is over! Congratulations to our winner: akennemur!

It's hard to believe, but July 4 is nearly here! And I have a four pack of tickets to the Museum of Life and Science to give away!

The tickets are good for the week of July 4, including the holiday, to the Durham museum. It's a free chance to check out the new Into the Mist exhibit, which will open June 30, along with all of the other great exhibits and activities there.

What do you need to do to enter to win? One or both of the following:

1. Follow @WRALmoms on Twitter and tweet once about the contest.

2. Answer the following question in the comments below: Will you catch fireworks this year?

This contest ends at noon, June 26. One winner will be picked at random from all entries. The winner's user name or Twitter name will be posted on this post by 9 p.m. June 26 and an email or message will be sent to the winner, if possible. The winner must respond by 5 p.m. June 28 or a runner-up will be selected. Good luck!

Was there a winner? I haven't seen a post?.....

Cant wait!!!

I unfortunately have to work so it looks like I won't get to enjoy them this year.

"Catch fireworks"? No way...those things will burn your hands. But I would enjoy watching them explode in the sky from a safe distance on the ground.

Watching fireworks would be way past my son's bedtime, so no. Usually we hear them since we live close to the fairgrounds but i heard they will be shooting them off in downtown Raleigh this time?

I have never been able to catch any-probably would give me third degree burns anyway. :)

Of course! Even if it means watching them on TV (due to young children), I always watch the fireworks!

We will not be going to any of the fireworks shows; my husband has to work the next day. Normally I try and catch them on t.v.

We will be camping in the woods, so no fireworks for us.

Yes! Family traditions, spend the afternoon at the grove and then hang out for the Benson fireworks display.
