Local moms and business owners Geralin Thomas of Metropolitan Organizing (and a regular on A&E's Hoarders) and Dr. Susan Orenstein of Orenstein Solutions have been talking about clearing out the clutter in our lives for the past few weeks.

Today they're wrapping up the series with a discussion about how to avoid the morning rush. I'm talking about packing so many things into the morning that by the time you send the kids off to school, nobody is in a good mood.

"Your feelings and how organized you are can really set the tone," Orenstein says.

Things as simple as packing lunches and laying out breakfast dishes the night before can help smooth usually rough mornings, Thomas tells me.

"Little things like that can make a big difference," she says.

For their tips and advice, watch the video.

And thank you to Geralin and Susan for offering this great information!
