Posted May 8, 2012

Local moms and business owners Geralin Thomas of Metropolitan Organizing (and a regular on A&E's Hoarders) and Dr. Susan Orenstein of Orenstein Solutions have been talking about clearing out the clutter in our lives for the past few weeks.

Today they're wrapping up the series with a discussion about how to avoid the morning rush. I'm talking about packing so many things into the morning that by the time you send the kids off to school, nobody is in a good mood.

"Your feelings and how organized you are can really set the tone," Orenstein says. Geralin Thomas and Dr. Susan Orenstein Spring Cleaning: Tips for more peaceful mornings

"Little things like that can make a big difference," she says.

For their tips and advice, watch the video.
