Clare's Run for a Reason raises money, awareness for Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood
Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood, a cousin to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, happens to kids dolder than one, often in their toddler years. The second annual event is held in honor of a 19-month-old Raleigh girl.
Posted — UpdatedWhitenack tells me that last year's event raised $17,000 for SUDC research and more than 350 people attended! I know she'd love to grow it again this year.
She's planning the second annual Clare's Run for a Reason on June 23 at the cross country course at Wake Med Soccer Park in Cary. There's a 5K run, a one-mile Family Fitness Walk, kids' activities, a silent auction, music and refreshments.
