The Boys & Girls Club of Wake County is looking for teens ages 16 to 18 to help out with its programs this summer.

The VolunTEEN program encourages civic engagement during the summer months. Volunteers must commit to 10 consecutive days and at least 60 hours to the program and attend a training session on June 5. Teens will help out kids ages 6 to 12 in one of the six Boys & Girls Clubs locations in Wake County.

There are just a couple of more days to register. Registration ends on Friday. So if your teen is looking for something to do this summer, here's a great opportunity.

For details, call Tia McLaurin at 919-834-6282 or email her at tmclaurin@wakebgc.org. And click here to find the registration application.
