I realize saying "kid logic" is a bit of an oxymoron. But my eight-year-old daughter Campbell has all kinds of logical reasons for things.
For her NCAA tournament bracket, she picked Michigan State. When they lost, she said no, she really wanted Kentucky. She only meant that she wanted to VISIT Michigan. Riiiiighhht.
She came up to me one night and said, “Dad should do what you say, he should listen to you.”
I had no idea what prompted this whole conversation, but I played along. I said, “Campbell, why do you think that?” She said, “Well mom, you’re taller, older and you’re a woman. That’s why!”
Now THAT’S my girl!!!!!!!
