Poe Montessori Magnet holds open house

Poe Montessori Magnet Elementary School will host another open house for prospective students and parents at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday.

The open house will include classroom observations, an opportunity to view Poe’s Montessori program and a school tour.

Because of Wake County school's new choice plan, Poe Montessori Magnet has 20 percent more magnet seats available than in past years with openings for the 2012 – 2013 school year. The openings are mostly for the Pre-K and kindergarten classrooms.

Poe Montessori Magnet School is the only Montessori program in the Wake County Public School System and offers the only tuition-based Pre-K Montessori program in the school system. For more information about Poe Montessori Magnet School’s Pre-K program and school-age program, contact the school at 919-250-4777.
