Posted March 29, 2012

N.C. State's Farm Animal Days is in full swing.

This very fun event designed for young children gives them an opportunity for some up close visits with farm animals. It started Wednesday and runs through Friday. The hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It's off Lake Wheeler Road just south of Raleigh. NC State Farm Animals Days_21 Baby animals, baby humans: NC State Farm Animals Days

I definitely agree on getting there early ... especially tomorrow when Wake County schools are out and there's potential for an even bigger crowd.

I took my young kids this morning and they had a blast. My son was loving the tractors he could sit on and pretend to drive. My daughter got to learn how to milk a cow! If you are going tomorrow, go early. It was packed by 9:30!
