SmartMomma in north Raleigh will play host this month to The Great Cloth Diaper Change, a Guinness World Record cloth diaper changing challenge.
The April 21 event at SmartMomma is part of an international effort to bring attention to the benefits of cloth diapering. The event involves parents changing their baby's cloth diapers at the same time - noon on April 21.

Participants must register before the event. Right now, there are 150 spots for cloth diaper changers at SmartMomma. More spaces could be added if it fills up fast. All participants are required to make a $1 donation to the Real Diaper Association, a national non-profit dedicated to promoting the use of cloth diapers.

And the day includes other activities too, including free swag bags for the first 50 people to sign up and free Jammin' Baby Music demos at 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Diaper changers must be at SmartMomma no later than 11:45 a.m.

SmartMomma is partnering with The Diapering Doula in Morrisville, which is now called The Family Nest.

I'm excited to be an official witness for the change! (Full disclosure: I didn't cloth diaper my own kids, but they're letting me in anyway :)

To register for one of the spots, click here. Go to the group's Facebook page here. SmartMomma is located at 8601A Glenwood Ave. in north Raleigh.
