This contest is over! Congratulations to our winners: carolinajack and mjbullock (on Twitter).

Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage, the stars of Discovery's popular series MythBusters, will stop in Raleigh for two shows this month.

The duo, best known for their experiments to support or debunk urban myths, will perform at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., March 25, at Raleigh's Memorial Auditorium at the Progress Energy Center for Performing Arts.

Says a press release on the show, which is very popular with families: “MythBusters: Behind the Myths,” promises to be a fantastical evening of on-stage experiments, audience participation, rocking video and behind-the-scenes stories. For the first time ever, fans will join Jamie and Adam on stage and assist in their mind-blowing and mind-twisting approach to science."

Tickets start at $29.50 and are on sale now through the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts Box Office and Ticketmaster. Click here for details and more information about the show.

Do dogs have cleaner teeth then humans? If so, why?

Is duct tape a remedy for wart removal? If so, do you have to use a particular brand?

restruant lemons are contaminated and unhealthy :)

Can dolphins really detect a pregnant women from one that's not... hmm... well at least that's what I read on why I can't swim with the dolphins now 3 months prego :)

can dogs really smell cancer? I would love to win tickets! my sons would love it!

Would love to see the show!

I would LOVE the tickets to the show AND to know if your tongue will really stick to a pole in winter like in my favorite movie A Christmas Story!!

Does Ivory soap (placed at the foot of the bed) prevent leg cramps? Do dryer sheets keep bugs away?

I'd like them to test whether hot water freezes faster than cold water in a freezer. And I'd love to win tickets to see them, my son would be thrilled!

if you have a penny that is heads up, is that really good luck?

there are a tons on things I want to see debunked from my favorite show, "White Collar". They do all this stuff with counterfeit money, aging paintings, etc. LOVE Mythbusters!!!

does antibacterial gel really kill 99% of germs?

I would like them to do a show on ...how much electric shock can you get from static, rubbing your socks on carpet or clothes coming out of the dryer? Can it kill you or make your hair straight? can a wood chuck really chuck wood?

Is it really more economical to run an electric vehicle? What happens when one figures in the cost of the electricity to recharge, costs of maintenance, costs of battery replacement and what do you do with the old battery? What about safety in an automobile accident with batteries on board?

Is "Dowsing" aka "Water Witching" real? People who live in the country seem to know a feller or two who go around finding new wells for folks.

Can pasta water (water that is left after boiling pasta)help your flowers grow better? We love this show! It would be neat to see them in person.

Here's a myth for you. I watched a show one time and these two boys got electricity out of a batch of Mystery meat(no idea what kind of meat was in it). Can you get electricity out of meat?

What do you do if you don't have a twitter account?

When I was little and we got warts my mom would have us call the "Wart Lady". She would ask us how many warts we had, then she would tell us to take a string and tie that many knots in the string and mail the string to her. She would tell us to forget about the warts and they would disappear in about 6 weeks. It never failed to work. You did have to have an accurate count.

Oh, how about the myth of Mommy Brain, does having children actually kill braincells?! My 6 year old son would flip out if he could go see them - it's his favorite show.

Do coffee grounds clean sink drains? returned54@yahoo.com

Tweeted about it

Oh, I wish I was more creative! I don't have a myth I'd like debunked, but, would love to see this!

If bulls will really charge you if you are wearing red.

It's funny that I can't think of a myth. Whenever I turn the show on and they announce what they are trying to prove/disprove, I always think "Yeah...I wondered about that?!" My middle schooler has had to watch some of this stuff for her science class and I know that she would love to see it in person

Do you really get more gas in your tank if you fill up in the AM (when temperatures are cooler)? Would love to win to surprise my husband with these tickets!

Before passing away, people would come from miles away to have by dear great aunt "talk off moles." Is that possible?

We love the MythBusters! Does sitting to close to the tv make you lose your eyesight?

Does it really take 7 years for swallowed gum to digest? My husband and son would LOVE these tickets.

Love MythBusters! Since they are visiting NC, maybe they would like to take on the challenge of the Devil's Stomping Ground.

Years ago, my grandmother told me that if you rub an onion over a "skin tag" and then bury it, the skin tag will drop off. True False ??? Also, we were told that if you tye a knot in the back of your pajamas, you will not "wet the bed"? again, Ture False ???

Don't know how they would do this...but, if you would swallow gum, does it really stay in your stomach for 7 years?

I would like to see any of the MacGyver tricks debunked.

I am not sure if they have already done this, but would love to see them do an umbrella roof jump! What size umbrella would you need to land safely anyway???

I can't think of a myth right now, I'm sure my husband could think of one! Would love to win these tickets!

We love mythbusters. Can't think of one of the top of my head but my husband aand daughter would love to see them

I can't think of one, but my 8 year-old would flip over a late birthday present if we won.

Do caffeinated drinks really dehydrate the body?

I can't think of one, but I've heard this is a great show and would love to see it!

Can drinking a liter of water before going to bed prevent a hangover?

My fiance' would love this! Urban myth to debunk....I've always been told that it's impossible to reach your elbow to your mouth or to "lick your elbow" (growing up we tried to get everyone to try this)....so far, I haven't met someone who can....but surely, there are people who can....right?

Urban Myth to debunk - none come to mind. My husband would LOVE this!

Many of the myths that people posted were already done on the show, and I am trying to think of one that hasn't been done, which is hard. Catching somebody that has fallen from a deadly height before they hit the ground will save both you and them.

I can't really think of anything but I would love to see this show with my family!!

I always wondered if it was true if you could end up getting zapped if you run the vacuum over the power cord too often.

Any myth would be good.

Not off hand, but I would love to see one debunked :)

Here's a myth, not sure if it's mythbuster quality, but I like it anyway: For every pound you lose by extreme dieting, you will gain 2 pounds back once you stop your extreme diet?

My whole family loves MythBusters! Anything they would do would be great!

I would like to see them do "Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board".
