Cary park to close Thursday for restroom installation

Posted February 14, 2012

Dunham Park in Cary will close for 24 hours starting Thursday so crews can deliver and install a prefabricated restroom building, weather permitting.

The entire park, including the playground, will be closed for safety reasons. The town also has completed some minor utility work and landscaping at the park at 519 Walnut St. during the past three months.

I thought Dunham park already had a restroom building. How about getting restrooms at some of the parks that don't already have them?

Glad to see it, but $167,000 for a pre-fab potty?
