Pronto Pasta is my neighborhood favorite. The locally owned restaurant in Raleigh features delicious scratch made food that is really affordable. My little family of four usually spends less than $20 on a hearty meal of yummy, filling pasta (in fact, I'm now, as I write this, craving the primavera cavatappi, which is pictured, so you may see me over there very soon).

The restaurant, which serves lunch and dinner and has beer and wine, recently won a MetroBravo Award for Best Take Out. Congratulations to the owners, Ed and Jennifer Schrage, who also are the busy parents of three. For more on Pronto Pasta, check out its website and Facebook page.
