Kidcycle, the consignment sale that rotates between Durham and Orange counties, will hold some Consigning 101 workshops starting this week.

The free workshops are for anybody who wants to learn more about consigning and how to make the most money from their items. You do not have to be a consignor or past shopper with Kidcycle to participate.

The first workshop will be 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Bull City Craft, 2501 University Dr., in Durham. Another is scheduled for 11 a.m. to noon, Jan. 27, also at Bull City Craft.

The sale will have more free workshops each month through March. Michelle, one of its owners, tells me that they hope to add some workshop locations in Chapel Hill soon.

UPDATE: Michelle has some more dates scheduled: 7 p.m., Feb. 9 and March 8, and 11 a.m., Feb. 24. All are at Bull City Craft. She hopes to have a Chapel Hill location shortly.
