Math, computer program offers free placement, demonstration classes
The Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science will have some free classes starting this week.

I wrote about the Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science a couple of months ago. The math and computer program is designed primarily for gifted students. Programs are offered in Wake and Orange counties. Click here to read the earlier post.
They'll be offering some free placement and demonstration classes starting this week. I thought I'd share the details.
Here's where you'll find them:
Computer Enrichment and Virtual Robotics free trial class:
- 3 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 10 and Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Mary Scroggs Elementary, Chapel Hill.
- 3 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 12 and Jan. 19, at Rashkis Elementary, Chapel Hill
- 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 14 and Jan. 21 at Trinity Academy, Raleigh.
- 4:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 20 at Cary Academy, Cary.
Math Enrichment free demonstration classes:
- 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 25, at Rashkis Elementary.
- 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 26 at Mary Scroggs Elementary.
- 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 21, at Trinity Academy.
- 3:10 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 24, at Trinity Academy.
- 4:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 23, at Cary Academy.
