Congratulations to the winners of our Cutest Baby Contest!

First, let me say that there are some cute babies out there! All 149 entries in our Cutest Baby Contest were adorable! But, when there's a contest, there has to be winners.

So, I'm excited to announce the winners of our first cutest baby contest. Here they are!

Grand prize winner in the 0 to 12 month category is Connor Lee Ray of Rocky Mount. Here's what mom Erika Turner tells me about Connor, who is almost nine months and his parent's only child.

Connor Lee Ray is the winner of Go Ask Mom's Cutest Baby Contest in the 0 to 12 month category.

"He's a happy baby who's always smiling and laughing and LOVES to play, whether he's running around in his walker, watching cartoons or looking at the pictures in all of his books. The first thing any and everyone notices about Connor are his big beautiful baby blue eyes! His favorite cartoon is Spongebob Square pants.

Connor's great grandfather Tommy Lee Ray is a retired firefighter with the Rocky Mount Fire Department and his father Andrew Ray is a volunteer firefighter for West Mount so, of course, his first Halloween costume had to be a fireman!"

Bayden Maxwell took top honors in the 13 to 24 month category. Bayden, 18 months, is the son of Graham and Jessica Maxwell of Sanford and his parent's only child. Here's what his mom says about Bayden:

Bayden Maxwell is the winner of Go Ask Mom's Cutest Baby Contest in the 13 to 24 month category.

"He is in the "I do it" stage where he wants to do everything for himself. Bayden enjoys the outdoors and loves climbing onto his bike for a ride across the lawn or down the driveway. He has a huge imagination and loves to turn knobs on doors, pushing buttons on telephones, televisions, and anywhere else he can find a button. Lastly, he loves music. If the music is on, then he is dancing. He is a very loving baby and he loves giving away all his warm hugs and kisses."

Emma Lewis of Knightdale is our runner-up in the 0 to 12 month category. Here's more about Emma from mom Jessica.

"Emma is nine weeks on Wednesday. She has an older brother Joshua, who is 4 1/2 years old. Emma loves to 'talk' to daddy and mommy, eat, sleep, and snuggle. I am blessed to be her mommy!"

I have not heard back from the person who submitted a photo of Vannie, the runner-up in the 13 to 24 month category. If that's you, please get back to me ASAP or I'll need to pick another runner-up.
