Updated: The fall, winter children's consignment sale season is about to come to a close this week.

We have two sales this week and two more in the coming weeks (which I somehow overlooked when I first wrote this post ... I'm sorry about that).

Just 4 Kids is open to the public 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Life Spring Community Church, 501 Wake Chapel Rd., in Fuquay-Varina. Some items are 50 percent off on Thursday. You'll find kids clothes, gear, toys and more. I featured the long-time sale in the spring. Click here to read the post.
And The Monkey Exchange will be open to the public 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to noon Friday (when some items will be 20 percent off). The sale will offer free babysitting from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday. The Monkey Exchange sells gently used and new high-end boutique clothing for children. So the prices here will be higher than what you'll find at most sales. The sale is at North Hills Club Ballroom, 4824 Yadkin Dr., Raleigh.
Next week is Carolina Kids Consignment. The sale opens Oct. 14 at a new location, the Johnston County Livestock Arena, 520 County Home Rd. in Smithfield, Off Hwy 210.

The Children's Cooperative Playschool Consignment sale is 8 a.m. to noon, Oct. 15., at 2025 Ephesus Church Rd., Chapel Hill.

OK ... now I really do think that should do it for the fall and winter consignment sale season (please let me know if I'm missing one!). Of course, the spring and summer season isn't that far away. It will kick off in January with the Kids Exchange.
