This one is especially for our Clinton, Dunn, Fayetteville and Goldsboro readers. Hubb's Corn Maze, which sits between Clinton and Dunn, has made some big changes for the season, which opens Saturday and runs through Nov. 6.

After seeing some big crowds last year, the owners knew they needed to expand the common area ... so they quadrupled it. There is now a new jump pillow, a giant sandbox, steer roping stations, a corn cannon, a bigger toddler town and maze; and more. And that more includes something called the "Big Chair" and the Hubb's Express Train, which stretches nearly 100-feet long and can carry 50 passenger.

This year's corn maze is a tribute to the final space shuttle mission. The maze is a series of three interactive mazes with maps, check points and five miles of trails. Hubb's also will have a haunted trail, separate from the shuttle-themed maze, which will be open on weekends in October.

Hubb's sits on Highway 421 North between Clinton and Dunn, about 35 to 45 minutes from Fayetteville and about 60 to 90 minutes from the Triangle.
