Stroller Strides opens north Raleigh location, offers free classes, starts 5K training program

Stroller Strides is opening a north Raleigh site, will offer a week of free classes across the Triangle and is starting up another 5K training program for moms.

It's going to be easier for north Raleigh moms to check out the program with the opening of a new Stroller Strides at Shelley Lake. The workout program, designed for moms and their stroller-riding kids, will hold a grand opening at 10 a.m. Sept. 21. It will include a free class and playgroup time. During the week of Sept. 24 to Sept. 30, the Raleigh, Cary, Apex and Chapel Hill Stroller Strides locations will offer a free week of classes. Click here for details.
And you may have read an earlier post about another Stroller Strides' 5K training program in the area, which started last month. Stroller Strides - Midtown is starting up Midtown Moms on the Run, a stroller-friendly 5K training program. It starts Oct. 4 in the midtown Raleigh area and culminates in the Jingle Bell Run 5K.
