Go Ask Mom

Check out Go Ask Mom's new birthday party database!

Posted September 7, 2011

Since we launched Go Ask Mom nearly 20 months ago, I've received at least one or two emails a month from moms asking me for local birthday party ideas.

Luckily, we have a lot of options in the Triangle. And more than 125 of them are on Go Ask Mom's new birthday party database!

Looking for an educational party for your kids? We've got ideas. Want an active party for your little soccer player or an artsy party for your crafter? You'll find places here. Need a pony? Yep ... you can find one of those here too.

The database allows you to specifically search for "party places," "entertainers" and "entertainment and supplies."

Party places are venues where you can hold your party. They typically offer party packages. These include local museums, farms, stores, movie theaters, gymnastics studios and more.

Entertainers are musicians, magicians, face painters, costumed performers and other people who can travel to your party.

In the entertainment and supplies category, you'll find inflatable rentals, bakers and more.

If you're trying to narrow down all the options, you can also check out our full list, which you can sort by city, party place, entertainer and entertainment and supplies. Click here to see the list.

Do we have every single birthday party option in the Triangle on our list? Not yet. If your favorite party place isn't on the list or if you offer services for children's birthday parties, we would love to add it to the list. Please send an email with the business name, address, phone number, website and brief description to me. Find my email address by clicking here.
