I knew there would be a difference between raising a son and a daughter but I don't think I was quite prepared for what I'm experiencing. Campbell is a picky eater. She apparently eats well at daycare but not so well at home. I've done everything from making her food look pretty on her plate to hiding finely chopped carrots in spaghetti sauce. Right now I'm letting her eat with a toothpick (no sharp points). It works.... Caiden, on the other hand, could care less what's on his plate as long as he can wrap his fingers around it and shove it into his mouth. He is an EATING MACHINE. I think he eats more than Campbell! The food starts flying when it's dinner time. He grabs food with both hands and shoves it in his mouth as quickly as he can. And he doesn't stop eating...I just have to stop feeding him! This all happened when he made the switch to regular food from the stuff in jars. I think he's gaining like a pound a week. When he's done eating, he's literally covered in food from his elbows to his fingertips and the top of his head to his second chin! And heaven forbid I get my hand in the way to help him. I swear he growled at me the other day! He just may outweigh Campbell by the time he turns one year old!!!!
