All of a Sudden
Wow! All of a sudden Reese is huge! I remember when we first put her in her swing when she was a week old. We had to prop her head up because it would flop over and she’d look so uncomfortable. Her first ride in the car seat was stressful. She screamed until the car started moving and then immediately fell asleep. Changing diapers was also a bit traumatic. She would cry. She must have been wondering why we had to strip her half naked and poke and prod at her. I remember how big the size 0 to 3 month outfits were. We had to roll up the sleeves. All of a sudden almost 3 months have passed. She still loves her swing. Her head never flops over and her feet are about to hang off then end. She loves to go for rides in the car or the stroller. We figured out what the screaming was about. She hates hats. That’s not such a good thing since it’s winter! When we change her diaper now she smiles and coos at me. She is certainly a smart girl. She waited to give her first real smile to her Grandpa who adores her. Boy, is she going to be spoiled! Last night she slept for 8 hours in a row for the first time. And she outgrew those 0 to 3 month outfits about a month ago. All of a sudden we’ve got a big girl.
