elmer....I fully agree with you, I'm tired of hearing about all the celebs in trouble, lets talk about our young men giving their lives for this craziness going on in the good 'ol USA..My heart goes out to this young man's family and all the ones that we have lost...My nephew is a Marine and I am very proud of him and all the young men and women that serve our country. Semper Fi, my young friend, RIP..

Eduardo, how do you call it the Obama war? It began with Bush. I don't get it, people critized Obama for wanting to pull out early yet when he decided we need to stay in people critize him for that too. Make your mind up.

Worland, the numbers of those killed have gotten worse because the violence has gotten worse in Afghanistan.

Prayers go out to his family.

Semper Fi, Hero! Prayers for your family and friends that will miss you so dearly this (and every future) Christmas season.

Yeah, Obama didn't start the war, but he sure has botched it. According to the DoD, we're no better off in Afghanistan than we were in 2007. In just two tears under Obama's inept leadership, 794 troops have been killed. Compare that to 630 troops killed in the first 8 years of the war combined.

Our troops are being slaughtered, and the news doesn't even give them the time of day!

it a shame that we can carrie on about a movie star or someone like Mrs. Edwards but all we can say about our fighting armed forces folks is a name in the paper. I am sorry about Mrs. Edwards death but such as I am I feel for the young marine and his family more.

Worlord.I wonder why WRAl STOPPED listing how many have been "murdered" in the Obama War. Also they used to give some information on those left behind.
I am no ghoul, but for general interest, I would like to know.
when they died during GWB's watch, the numbers were always there. In the first year of Czar Obamas' Czarship, they did show it.
Thank you for keeping trac of those young heroes sho have died in this senseless war. May they all RIP and may the family & friends of these young men, be consoled that they died for their country.
And for those who say that they feel more secure they better get there heads out of their a%% and smell the real world
