I hated both of these wars. We have air superiority for a reason, get the troops off the ground, flatten the whole place, rinse and repeat as needed.....

Wish at least we'd have never gone into Iraq, then maybe this mess in Afganistan would be over by now.....

Cheney should be in leg irons.....

    Prayers for the family.
Rest in peace Marine, when your eyes closed in this world, I pray they opened in the Lord's presence.

US casualties in Afghanistan stand at 1334 troops KIA. Roughly 630 KIA in the first 8 years of war under GW. 704 KIA under Obama.

Total coalition casualties in Afghanistan currently stand at 2161 KIA. About half the number lost in Iraq.

Your post is the best. I think that your Commander in-chief has forgotten you.
After his initial photo-op about 1.5 years ago at Dover AFB, he and his staff never visit with our young heroes who come home in body bags or console family & friends

Americans are fighting over the dumbest issues while I am afraid our troops have been forgotten. God bless all of you and keep you safe.
