Lejeune Marine killed in Afghanistan

— A Camp Lejeune Marine was killed Sunday in Afghanistan, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Cpl. Aaron M. Faust, 22, of Louisville, Ky., died while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, officials said.

Faust was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force.

The case remains under investigation, officials said.

    Why does Afganistan need money from the U.S. to pay for their security? and from whom? They need to spend the money from their Opium poppies. I say Bring our men home and let the Afgans take care of their own.
