Legislators take questions on health care reform

Posted August 25, 2009

UNC-TV hosted a live town hall on health care reform Tuesday night. It was broadcast on television and simulcast on WRAL.com.

The event began at 9 p.m. and featured members of the North Carolina congressional delegation answering questions about health care reform submitted by the public.

To get your question in the queue, send an e-mail to healthcare@unctv.org, or submit questions to UNC-TV's Facebook profile or via message on Twitter.

I think everyone should visit Factcheck.org and read up on the real issues, so folks don't waste time asking questions regarding false or inaccurate information. There is way too much false information spreading around, and plenty of true reasons the govt needs to keep itself out of the health care industry. Health care reform... YES, the current Obamacare legislation.... NEVER!!!!

I have e-mailed a few questions in - hopefully all of us who are opposed to the current health care proposals but in support of health care reform will send in questions representing our opinion.
