— Lee County sheriff's deputies Friday secured an arrest warrant for a 29-year-old Sanford man who they say raped an 11-year-old girl, who gave birth to a baby in January.

Jesus Mendez Hernandez , whose last know address was 294 Peters Lane in Sanford, is wanted for  first-degree rape of a child and other charges, deputies said in a statement.

Hernandez reportedly has left Lee County, they said.

The case began Jan. 13, when deputies got a report that an 11-year-old had given birth at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, they said.

Unless "liberal" means "placed by a Republican president", because 7 out of the 9 Supreme Court Justices were nominated by: Presidents G.W. Bush (2), Bush (2), Reagan (2) and Ford (1). President Clinton had also nominated 2.

"why didn't her (the 11 year olds) parents report the rape before the birth......????"

Could be because it was a relative who raped her. He's also charged with incest according to the local paper.

I see that I am being discriminating against. Every comment I have wrote for the past few months just doesn't seem to get published. I write nothing anybody else hasn't said or wrote.

If this man isn't a good example of why castration and the death penalty shouldn't be allowed, I don't know what is.

Colliedave: I agree with you. We should all thank the liberals justices in the Supreme Court. Maybe one day they will protect the rights of the victims rather than the rights of the criminals
